Overview
Our Business
We are Dustid, building the addressing architecture for the digital economy and beyond. We're building 'The World’s Address Book.
We're fixing a problem that everyone accepts as normal, but it isn’t.
People move. Addresses change. Relationships drift. Then a birthday arrives, a moment matters, you want to send something, and you realise you do not have the right details. So you text, you chase, you feel awkward, or you give up. Businesses face the same mess at scale, failed deliveries, wrong addresses, frustrated customers, wasted time.
Dustid makes staying connected effortless.
It keeps the people you care about in one place, so you can reach them when it matters. It helps you keep contact details current, so you are not relying on old messages or outdated notes. It lets you send something to someone, confidently, without turning it into a negotiation.
For consumers, Dustid is the simplest way to manage the addresses of friends and family.
For businesses, Dustid is the missing layer that makes address sharing cleaner, safer, and more reliable, improving delivery success and reducing friction.
We are building addressing infrastructure for the digital economy and beyond, the trust layer that helps people and platforms connect in the real world, with less hassle and more privacy.
If you join us as a volunteer, you are not joining “another app.” You are helping build the system that makes modern connection work properly.
Our Progress
We’re prerevenue, which means we’re building before the money shows up. That forces discipline. We can’t solve problems with headcount or big budgets, so we solve them with operational systems, clear priorities, and weekly execution.
That’s why we need volunteers.
We’re building addressing infrastructure, not a simple feature. It touches product, UX, security, testing, support, content, and partnerships. There are many moving parts, and momentum is survival. Volunteers help us move faster without lowering standards.
They also help us keep our values intact. We choose trust, privacy, and “be good” over burning cash. In a prerevenue phase, cash must be protected for essentials like hosting, legal, compliance, and critical development. Volunteers fill the gap so progress does not stall.
Volunteers also stress test our operations. If our onboarding, documentation, access controls, handovers, and weekly cadence work smoothly with a distributed volunteer team, they will scale even better when we grow into paid hires.
And the benefit is mutual. Volunteers get meaningful work, clear deliverables, real startup experience, portfolio proof, and references or testimonials when commitments are fulfilled.
In short, volunteers are not a replacement for paid staff. They are the force that helps us ship, learn, and build trust, until revenue catches up.
Our Plan for the future
Over the next 12 to 18 months our focus is simple, prove traction, tighten trust, and turn Dustid into repeatable infrastructure.
We will ship a sharper core product, the intelligent address book that makes staying connected effortless, keeps addresses current, and enables address sharing only when needed. We will reduce friction across onboarding, connections, and delivery flows, and strengthen privacy, encryption, and abuse prevention.
We will push real usage through focused use cases, gifting and addressless checkout, plus small business workflows where failed deliveries and address chasing are expensive. We will do things that do not scale, onboarding early users and partners manually, listening obsessively, and improving weekly.
Operationally we will standardise how we build, test, support, and document, so the team can move fast without breaking trust. We will mature analytics and weekly growth tracking, so every decision links back to user happiness and measurable adoption.
Commercially we will validate revenue through a commission model tied to basket value, plus platform and enterprise integration opportunities. We will build credible partnerships where Dustid becomes embedded, not bolted on.
The outcome we want by month 18, clear repeatable growth, proven revenue signals, and a product and operational engine ready to scale.
