Product Design (UI/UX)

I'm an early-mid level UX/UI designer with a degree in Graphic Design (Webdesign focus) and 2.5 years of professional experience. I'm currently expanding into product design through a Digital Product Designer course, building on my existing skills in UX research, systems thinking, and structured Figma workflows.

Design keeps my brain sharp. I genuinely enjoy challenges and learning new things, especially when a project pushes me beyond what I already know. I've worked on an AI-driven SaaS product, academic platforms, and marketing-focused websites and across all of them, my focus has been less on flashy visuals and more on structure, information hierarchy, and making complexity feel manageable.

I enjoy the full design process: understanding user problems, mapping flows and information architecture, wireframing, polishing the UI, and handing off clean specs to developers. I particularly like projects where the challenge isn't just how it looks, but how it works. I naturally think in systems, components, consistency, scalable patterns. Design systems are a big part of how I work.

I'm motivated by environments where ideas are welcomed, questions are encouraged, and learning is part of the culture. I want to be part of a team that's building something meaningful, not just shipping features.

About Me

Career Path and Aspirations

My experience spans agency and product environments, where I have worked on AI-driven SaaS tools, academic platforms, and marketing websites. In each of these, I have collaborated closely with developers and product managers understanding that good design only works when it is built well too. I am used to fast-paced, cross-functional teams where clear communication and reliable handoff matter as much as the design itself.

Ideal Volunteer Opportunity

I'm looking for a volunteer opportunity where I can grow as a designer, build my portfolio, and gain real product experience. I'd love to work on UX and product-focused projects, ideally in SaaS, fintech, healthcare, or government, where design actually has an impact on people's lives. I'm particularly interested in projects that go beyond visuals, things with real UX challenges, complex flows, or systems that need structure. That's where I feel most engaged and learn the most. What I bring to the team is genuine motivation, passion for design, and a lot of availability. I'm flexible, easy to work with, and show up consistently, which I know matters a lot in volunteer setups.
