No. Only tech companies who are building scalable digital products can benefit from SkilledUp Life. e.g. [Deal Lite](https://deallite.uk/) qualifies as its developing a scalable digital product but [Techcelerate](https://techcelerate.ventures/) does not, as its a service business. eCommerce companies and marketplaces are allowed. ### What businesses are excluded? Service businesses including consultancies, agencies such as digital marketing, software development and digital transformation companies do not qualify for our service. Manufacturing and engineering companies are excluded as well. If in doubt, please ask before signing up and subscribing. ### When does the subscription start? Subscription starts immediately after you select a pricing plan and subscribe. You need to ensure you complete the company profile creation before you can post Volunteer Opportunities. ### Can the subscription be cancelled any time? Yes. After the end of the current subscription period (month or the year), depending on the subscription plan you have chosen, no further payments will be taken after you have cancelled the subscription. ### Do you refund? No, we do not offer refunds. You can always unsubscribe and no further payments will be taken. ### Can I start without signing a Volunteer Agreement? No. After successful recruitment of a Volunteer, no activity should take place before both parties sign a Volunteer Agreement. ### Is there a free plan? No. You need to select a pricing plan, subscribe and build your company profile first before you can post Volunteer Opportunities. ### Is there a free trial? No. SkilledUp Life is not your standard software product. It’s a Human Capital Platform as we deal with humans. It takes time to understand how to leverage our skilled Volunteers (SkilledUp Lifers). ### Can I sign up without a budget? You can but we highly recommend you only sign up if you have a budget to subscribe today. If not, best not to sign up and create a company account. ### I signed up but cannot proceed beyond the pricing plans? You can only proceed after you have selected a Pricing Plan and Subscribed. If you are not ready to subscribe today or within the next few days, please do not sign up. ### Can I access SkilledUp Life Dashboard after expiration of the current subscription? No, you cannot. You need to resubscribe to access your Dashboard. ### Do I pay for Volunteers in addition to the subscription? Absolutely not. Once subscribed, Volunteers are completely free. Subscription is to publish Volunteer Opportunities, access Dashboard and get the help you need, i.e. you pay for us to operate SkilledUp Life, the service, but all the volunteer talent is free. You are not allowed to offer any payments or benefits in kind to Volunteers. You must not make promises of future paid work both during recruitment and volunteering. ### What is a Volunteer Term? Up to a maximum of 3 hrs per day Monday to Friday for 60 Volunteer Days over a 3 month Volunteer Agreement.
